AMD Ryzen Pro 4000U with Ryzen 3 Pro 4450U, Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U, and Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U, set to be Powering the Lenovo ThinkPad Series.

It’s been a while since AMD announced the Ryzen 4000U series for laptops, and many people were thinking when is the Ryzen Pro 4000U Series, which is meant to used mostly in the business laptops, are coming.
Well, the Wait is Over, the 7nm Zen 2 bases Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U, Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U, and Ryzen 3 Pro 4450U, are pretty much set to replace the older 12nm zen+ bases  Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U, Ryzen 5 Pro 3500U, and Ryzen 3 Pro 3300U, respectively.

AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U, Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U, and Ryzen 3 Pro 4450U

Like it happened previously with the Ryzen 3000U series to the Ryzen 4000U series, there will be significant gen-to-gen performance and efficiency advantages coming from Ryzen Pro 3000U series to the Ryzen Pro 4000U series.

The Ryzen 3 pro 4450U will have the Vega 5 GPU, Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U will have the Vega 6 GPU, and the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U will have the Vega 7 GPU

It is said by AMD that even the lowest-end Ryzen 3 Pro 4450U, is expected to perform the same as the last year’s top-end Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U.

Also, it is said by AMD that there will be a ~29% increased single threaded performance, ~132% increased multithreaded performance and ~13 increased graphics performance for the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U from Ryzen 7 Pro 3770U

Also, AMD promises up to 33% faster multi-thread performance between the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U and Intel Core i7-10710U,
And up to ~86% faster multi-threaded performance between the Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U and Intel Core i5-10210U
Intel has yet to announce its 10th gen Pro series processors.

The AMD Ryzen Pro 4000U CPUs will have the Pro security to match the intel vPro Security, Pro Manageability to match the intel’s AMT, and Pro Business Ready to match Intel’s SIPP, Also, the AMD Memory guard will also make its return, these features will be present in the Pro CPU, from Ryzen 3 to Ryzen 7.

Previous the biggest problem with Pro 3000U series was that it was barely present in any business laptops, but this time AMD is promising that the new Ryzen Pro 4000U series Processors will debut in more laptop, starting with the Lenovo ThinkPad T14, T14s, X13, L14, and L15 later this year
