The Comet Lake Series Intel Core i5-10600K and Core i5-10600KF have been spotted on Geekbench 4 by Tum Apisak(From Twitter).
The Core i5-10600K is Unlocked while the 10600KF is Unlocked with disabled iGPU.
Intel Core i5-10600K
Both the i5-10600K and 10600KF we able to go up to 4.98Ghz, and had similar benchmark score, with the i5-10600K scoring 6,081 in the single-core test and 28,523 in the multi-core test, while the i5-10600KF scored 6,070 in the single-core test and 28,673 in the multi-core test.
For Comparision their AMD Counterpart the AMD Ryxen 5 3600 and 3600X Scored as follow
Ryzen 5 3600 scored an average of around 5,500 points in single-core and around 28,000 in the multi-core test
Ryzen 5 3600X scored an Average of around 5,700 points in the single-core test and around 28,500 points in the multi-core test.
|Intel Core i5-10600K||6/12||125-W||6,081||28,523|
|Intel Core i5-10600KF||6/12||125-W||6,070||28,673|
|AMD Ryzen 5 3600||6/12||65-W||5,500||28,000|
|AMD Ryzen 5 3600X||6/12||95-W||5,700||28,500|
So the i5-10600K and 10600KF were able to perform much better than the Ryzen 5 3600 and 3600X in the single-core test but had identical scores in the multi-core tests.
The Single-core test should be the point for gamers
Pricing for the Both the Processor’s
US$230 for the Ryzen 5 3600X and US$175 for the Ryzen 5 3600. The regular Intel Core i5-10600 is expected to cost around US$250. So, therefore, the Unlocked version will be priced higher.
But there is a Catch the TDP of i5-10600K and 10600KF is 125 W while that of Ryzen 5 3600 is 65 W and 3600X is 95 W, SO while Building the CPU you would have to choose a higher-powered PSU, so ultimately Ryzen 5 series is having a tad bit better Price to Performance Ratio, Overall but in case of Single Core Performance Intel is the Winner
