Dimensity 820 is the latest addition to the MediaTek’s Dimensity Family.
MediaTek’s Dimensity series, pulled it out of the sinking boat, the Dimensity 1000 was a Great SoC but was not able to take on the Qualcomm’s Flagship Snapdragon 865, but was able to beat all other flagship SoC, then came the Dimensity 1000l which changed everything, it was easily able to beat its competition the Snapdragon 765G, and now we have the Dimensity 820.
which is expected to be in the lower-midrange smartphones.
Recently an ARM MT6875 Processor has been spotted on the Geekbench 5.1, as a part of devices with the model name Xiaomi M2004J7AC(Codename “atom”) and Xiaomi M2004J7BC (codename “bomb”). These two devices are expected to be the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro, respectively.
The ARM MT6875 processor, t widely believed to be revealed shortly as the new midrange from MediaTek the Dimensity 820. it is expected to be clocked at 2.60GHz but in Geekbench 5.1, the measured base frequency was 2.00GHz, so more performance is expected to form it in future.
The Single-Core scores from the “bomb” Sample were around mid-640’s while the multi-core scores were around 2,500’s
These scores are much better than the Snapdragon 765G, also it is not too far from the HiSilicon Kirin 980.
