Design and Build Quality

The design is very different from the Mi 10 Pro; the non-T Version had a curved display with a long vertical camera module on the back, while the T version has a Flat display, which is essentially better, and a wider Vertical camera module on the back housing three cameras.
The design is excellent, it feels premium, but at the same time, the glass back is highly prone to fingerprints and smudges.
The Build Quality of the Mi 10T Pro is excellent both the front and back are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and the frame is made of aluminum; the phone is quite a bit heavy due to that massive 5000mAh battery, but once you get used to it, its feels excellent in hand.
Display
Mi 10T Pro has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD Display, with a native resolution of 1080X2400 Pixels, a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, a Pixel Density of 395 PPI, with ~875% Screen to body ratio and a 650 nits max brightness; it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and supports HDR 10 content, the display is 144Hz Refresh Rate panel with Adaptive sync and supports MEMC.
When all the Flagships, be a premium one or a budget one, uses an AMOLED panel, why is the Mi 10T Pro using an IPS-LCD display?
, Well the answer from the Marketing Manager of Xiaomi is that it’s better to use a top of the class best IPS-LCD panel then to use a mediocre AMOLED Panel.
And yes, the Display is indeed excellent, it can be said to be the best IPS-LCD display out there on a smartphone, and gets much brighter and much dimmer than its competitors with AMOLED display, but the advantage of AMOLED lies in its color reproduction, even a mediocre AMOLED produces much more colors than the Best LCD out there, but the IPS-LCD on the 10T Pro is excellent, the color reproduction, and dynamic range are excellent and are worthy of the Flagship Tag.
Performance
The Mi 10T Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, an Octa-core SoC with 1×2.84 GHz Kryo 585 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 585 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 585, and is coupled with Adreno 650 GPU.
The Snapdragon 865 is an excellent SoC and can easily handle every task you throw at it. The only software which can push it to its maximum performance are the benchmarking apps; it’s excellent for every type of task from Day to day usage to Heavy workloads like AAA gaming and mobile rendering. And is also future proof for at least the next 3 years.
Memory and Storage
Mi 10T Pro has only one storage option an 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 2 storage options, 128/256GB of UFS3.1 Storage.
The memory and storage options are excellent; with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 storage, the smartphone is future Proof for at least the next 3 years.
Camera/Optics

Optics are one of the major difference between a Budget Flagship and a Premium Flagship.
Mi 10T Pro has Triple Camera Setup.
108 MP, f/1.7,(Wide Lens) PDAF, OIS
13 MP, f/2.4, 123˚ (Ultrawide Lens)
5 MP, f/2.4, (Macro Lens)
Video Recording options include
[email protected], [email protected]/60fps, [email protected]/60/120fps
For selfies it has 20 MP, f/2.2,(Wide Lens).
The shots from the primary lens are pixel binned by a ratio of 1:4, but the shots are in 25MP instead of 27MP.
The 25MP shots from the primary lens in normal lighting conditions are excellent, they are on par with the premium flagships, but in low lighting conditions, without night mode, the shots are mediocre at best, but while using the Night mode, the shots are excellent with sharp images and great contrast, one of the best for a budget flagship.
The Ultrawide shots in normal lighting conditions were good but had a narrow dynamic range, but overall we’re good for a budget flagship smartphone; in low lighting conditions, the shots are good but not great.
Macro shots are excellent, and the portrait shots are also excellent.
As for Video Recording, 8K videos are excellent, but as there is a lack of OIS or EIS in 8K Video Mode, it’s only suggested if the video is made while the smartphone is in stable positions, 4K shots are also excellent, and EIS Stabilization, at 1080P, gets EIS and super steady mode.
Battery
Mi 10T Pro has a Huge 5000mAh battery with 33-W Fast Charging, it can go from 0 to 60$% in 30 mins.
The battery life is excellent, even with heavy usage it will easily last for more than a Day
Audio
Dual super-linear speakers
1012 super-linear speaker on top and 1216 super-linear speaker on the bottom
Both the Top and Bottom speakers have similar levels of loudness, the speaker setup is great, but lacks Bass the audio quality is excellent, and the vocals are clear, and some people may have some issues with the max volume.
The Speakers also have a feature of cleaning the speaker grills, where the speaker are played at the highest volume to clear the speaker grills of any debris present there.
Security
Mi 10T Pro has a Side-mounted Fingerprint sensor and also supports AI Face-Unlock.
The Side-mounted fingerprint sensor is excellent, it’s fast and secure and also in a comfortable position.
User-Interface
Mi10T Pro is running on MIUI 12 on top of Android 10.0.
Extra
Mi 10T Pro does not have the 3.5mm headphone Jack.
It has support for 5G, WiFi 6. Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC.
It Doesn’t have any IP Rating
Mi 10T Pro Price in India

Mi 10T Pro has an excellent build quality, excellent design, excellent display, Excellent Performance, Great Camera Setup, Excellent Battery, Great Audio, and excellent memory and storage options, all this at an excellent price of ₹39,999.
The Mi10T Pro is surely a Smartphone which you should look for when thinking of buying a smartphone under ₹40,000.
