HMD Global Did a Very good Job with the Nokia, almost reviving it and putting some amazing options in the low-Mid range segment.
This time they released the Nokia 7.2 A Low-Mid Budget Smartphone.
As Always let’s start with the Looks and design.
It has a Plastic frame well that’s the only thing down about this design, it has got a Matte back finish being protected by Gorilla Glass 3 on both the sides and feels very good in the hand, Comfortable to hold. but don’t expect any swag from this phone, it has a classy feel.
Coming to the Display it has 6.3 inches IPS-LCD display with 1080X2280 resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio, and honestly it is one of the best display in its price segment, has a color mode to set from in the setting, overall very good display.
So next is Performance, so in terms of performance it has a snapdragon 660 with Adreno 512 GPU, which overall is a bit Lag down, as it is old processor, Smartphone in previous year in this Segment used to have this processor, but The overall performance is good for day to day task and is able to handle pretty much all the games, mostly in low setting’s, for storage options it has 4/6 GB RAM option and 64/128 GB Storage options.
Overall the performance could have been better, the processor is of the previous generation.
Now For the Optics, this phone has triple camera setup with the primary one being a 48 MP f/1.8 aperture wide lens, the second one is an 8 MP Ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and the third one is 5 MP depth sensor, it has Zeiss lens in all of the shooters, the overall quality of shots are good in the normal lighting, but in night mode, the results the pretty average, the ultrawide shots are also pretty average, but the depth sensor does it’s job pretty well and give out some great shots.
for selfies, it has a 20 MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture equipped with Zeis and gives some good shots.
No OIS is given but the EIS is very good, the stabilization is available till 1080P and no stabilization in 4k Footage.
Next is the battery, this phone has 3500 mAh battery, and is nothing impressive, will last for the full day in normal usage, but in heavy usage, you will have to use charger by evening.
The Speakers are good, having good audio quality and decent volumes.
One good About all the Nokia phones it the Andriod One, which gives the stock android experience, and the same can be said to this phone, the UI is very good and feels good to use, the android one program guarantees fast updates.
Overall if you want a phone with great build and with fast software updates and for daily usage, then this phone is a good option, but the thing is in the price range it is coming in, at 17000 INR, there are many options better than this phone, this is like a phone which offers nothing at it best but offers everything at a decent level.
- Good processor( but is of Old generation)
- Above-average Camera
- Great Bulti quality
- Good display
- Above Average Battery life
- Good speakers
- Android One
