One Plus 7T- The T Variant’s Review

OnePlus is supposedly famous for giving budget-friendly phone’s
and they have a habit, the habit of releasing 2 phones in a year one base model then the next one with improvements and betterments from the base model generally ending with the word T well this year they have already released 2 phones one plus 7 and one plus 7 pro but they just can’t let this end by not releasing the “T” version
so here it is the Oneplus 7T heck it is great except for some minor issues here and there

One Plus 7T- The T Variant's Review 11

So as always let’s start with the look’s design and build quality
from the front it is almost identical to the one plus 7T same notch with a slightly bigger screen the major change in design can be seen in the back where it has camera bump which is a major setback for many as many people didn’t expect one plus to do this the camera bump design is up to you to decide some may like it or some may don’t personally I don’t have any issues with it and my reaction to it is pretty neutral
the build quality is good no issues there feels good in the hand and has good protection.
Coming to display it has a 6.55 Inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and is a 90 Hz screen protected by corning gorilla glass on both sides.
And really the Display feels too good well mostly due to that 90 Hz screen high refresh rates are always good
as it is an AMOLED display the colors and saturation are great, the blacks are very deep and great, the display is great but not the best in this segment(thanks to ROG Phone 2) no issues with the screen.

One Plus 7T- The T Variant's Review 12

For Performance well lets just say that there shouldn’t be any app which it cant run smoothly as it has a Snapdragon 855+ coupled with 8 GB of RAM and Storage Options include 128/256 GB of UFS 3.0 Storage, the performance is just amazing even the heaviest apps run smoothly, well nothing less was expected from with processor, its the best Qualcomm has to offer as of now, so No issues in performance.
Coming to Camera

A Triple Camera which is more similar to Oneplus 7 pro than to one plus 7
The Primary lens is a 48 MP,f/1.6 wide lens and is just amazing in daylight(mostly) in low light conditions and night conditions the snaps are good more on the great side but not great can be termed as very good but not great, for the secondary lens it has
12 MP, f/2.2 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and shoots some good pics but it could have been better, hope one plus gets it better by software updates, for the third lens it has a 16 MP, f/2.2 ultrawide lens
which is again very good but not great but gives satisfactory results.
there is also an option to go macro in-camera setting with these options one can capture macro shots and yeah they are great.
it can record videos up to 2160P @30/60fps, 1080P @30/60/240fps, 720P @960fps, gyro-EIS,
for selfies, it has a 16 MP, f/2.0 Wide Lens, and perform great in daylight conditions and good in low and night light the portraits are also good.

So what remains is battery it has 3800 mAh Battery and honestly I expected one plus would have given a bigger one surely 3800 mAh is big but given the thing’s it has to power it should have been bigger, well one thing good is it has a Wrap Charge 30T or so the one plus call’s it and is really fast I mean crazy fast so if you carry your charger around just
10-15 min charger would be enough for a while.
now comes the extra features
one of the best things about one plus phones is the Oxygen OS this UI is very good and given almost stock android experience and feels very good to use, this time also it is very good but the gestures for home, back, previous apps and some other things are kinds of confusing this time, surely you can turn to the basic old days button style to get it easier,
it has stereo speakers and they are good, not great but are good,
it has under-display fingerprint sensor which is pretty accurate and fast, and it also has Face-Unlock and is pretty good
for the price of 38000 INR for the 8 GB RAM/128 GB Storage Variant
this phone is good with so many pros and very fewer cons

  • Final Verdict:-
    – One of the best performance
    – Great Camera’s
    – Great Display
    – Good Audio
    – Good Battery
    – Design is up-to your perception some may like it some may don’t
    – Aggressive Pricing
