Specification Details

Rating: 5 out of 5.

The OnePlus 8 Pro, has a Glass Back with an Aluminium Frame, the back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, on the back, it is clean with just the camera module supporting a Quad camera setup and flash, and one plus branding at the bottom, on the front we have the display with speakers on the top and a punch-hole camera at the top left corner.

The Phone feels premium and comfortable in the hand, and The Display is Curved which may lead to accident touches(rarely) and due to having a big screen one hand experience for people with small hands may not be good, other than that there is nothing bad about it

one plus 8 pro

OnePlus 8 Pro has a Quad Camera Setup, {The First Quad Camera Setup from One Plus}
48 MP, f/1.8 (Wide Lens) OIS, PDAF+CAF {Sony IMX689}
8 MP, f/2.4(Telephoto Lens) OIS, 3x optical zoom
48 MP, f/2.2 (Ultrawide Lens){Sony IMX 586}
5 MP, f/2.4, (Color Filter Sensor)

OnePlus 8 Pro has a great camera setup,
The shots from the Main 48MP lens are amazing, have amazing level details, accurate color reproduction, saturation, and great dynamic range, The main 48MP shooter can easily be compared against the likes of iPhone 11 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, and in some cases even perform better than them,

The Ultrawide Shots are again one the best, and in terms of details captured they are the best, but they are not wide enough as compared to other flagships,
The Telephoto lens with 3X optical does wonders, even at 10X digital zoom, most of the words are readable.
Also, the Macro Shots from the Ultrawide lens is the best any smartphone can offer as of now.
The Portrait shots are great, but is still a bit behind the iPhone 11 pro
The Color Filter lens is good for fun, but you eventually forget about it.

Low Light Shots are great, but they need some improvement, if the shots are taken in pro mode with proper setting then the low light shots are amazing, but not in the default setting.
But if you use flash then it will give you the best pics

But there is one issue, there is a kind of Redness layer on some pics, with direct sunlight, but there are efforts for One Plus to fix it, through software updates, and now it seems like it will be fixed eventually through software updates.

But If you want a Smartphone just for its camera’s, then there are other options like S20 Ultra, Huawei P40 Pro and Pixel 4, they perform better, but not by a huge margin

Video Recording Options include 2160P @30/60FPS, 1080P @30/60/240FPS, the video shots are great, easily on par with the S20 Ultra and just a bit behind iPhone 11 Pro.

For Selfies, we have a 16MP{Sony IMX471} selfie camera, they easily one of the best selfies shots from a smartphone.
