Design and Build Quality
The Design is very similar to the older Bullet 2, the buds are also of the same in-ear type, and it has the magnetic back which joins together when not in use.
However, the build quality is very different unlike the previous bullet’s the OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z is made of plastic, the plastic is of premium quality. plastic does make it lighter, but it simply does not have the feels of the metal like the previous bullet’s. Also, the strap is made of soft but premium rubber and is thicker than the previous bullet’s.
Overall for a ₹1,999 wireless, the build and design quality is excellent.
The Audio quality is excellent but is a little bit lower than the bullet 2. Still, considering the price difference, the quality difference is negligible, the High and Mid Tones were excellent, the low tone was a bit weak but still great, the only area where it lacks a bit is the Bass.
Also, the latency is very low, and if you use an OnePlus device, then you can use a low latency mode. However, not everyone has an OnePlus device, so even in other devices like Redmi or Samsung, the latency was never a problem.
The Microphone is again a strong point for Bullets Wireless Z. It has one of the best, if not the best microphones in this price range
Ease of Use
One bad thing about the in-ear type is that they might start to feel uncomfortable after extended use, but Bullets Wireless Z doesn’t have that problem. The earbuds are excellent and comfortable. You can easily put them in-ears for long hours, like for around 6-7 hours with any discomfort.
The Strap is also very comfortable as it is made of soft rubber, long hours are effortless to do.
OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z uses Bluetooth 5.0, the range is good, in a normal house you won’t get any problem if you switch between rooms.
It has plastic buttons, but are of very good quality. They are small, so it might be difficult for people with big hands to use them. Also, there is a Quick Switch button that can be used to pair with devices. A long press will enable it for pairing, while the short press can be used to switch between the device, great for switching between smartphone and laptop.
Also, if you remove the earphones and clip the buds together, then music/video is automatically paused.
OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z is IP55 Water-resistant, meaning they are sweat-resistant, so it won’t be a good idea if you are thinking of using it while swimming.
The Battery life is great, it will easily last for around 18-hours, also it can get up to 10 hours of usage in 10-mins of charge, and if you have a wrap charger then it can fully charge in around 25-mins.
One Can get the Bullet Wireless Z at ₹1,999 either from the OnePlus Site or Amazon.OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition (Reverb Red) OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z in-Ear Bluetooth Earphones with Mic (Blue) OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z in-Ear Bluetooth Earphones with Mic (Mint) OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition (Bass Blue)
If you can overlook the Low Bass, then OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z is the best Wireless earphone one get in this price range, the build is excellent, the design is comfortable, performance is great, and battery life is excellent.
The Only downside is the low Bass. If Bass is your priority, then you can go for the Realme Wireless.
