The Redmi K30 Pro looks very similar yet distinguishable from the K30, on the Front on K30 Pro We don’t have the Punchhole camera for selfies instead we have a motorized pop-up camera for selfies, on the back we have gradient finish back but the gradient is a bit different from the K30, also the camera module is Circular, but unlike the K30 which has a Rectangular module inside the circular module on K30 Pro, we have a full Circular Camera module.
The K30 Pro has an Aluminium Frame, with both the front and back protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Build Quality is excellent, it is on par with the premium flagships, it feels good in the hand, and even though it has a big form factor, in some days you will get used to it.
On the Redmi K30 Pro, we have a 6.67-inches Super AMOLED FHD+ Display with
1080X2400 Pixel resolution, and Aspect Ratio of 20:9, an ~87% Screen to Body Ratio, a Pixel Density of 395PPI, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and also has HDR10+ Support.
The Display is great, it is one of the best displays’ out there, the colors are good, with deep blacks, the only con about the display is the 60Hz Refresh, one would expect a 60Hz refresh rate panel on a flagship device.
The Redmi K30 Pro has the 2020 Flagship Processor from Qualcomm the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, and I don’t think I have to say anything more about this processor, it is simply the best Andriod processor as of now
Memory and Storage
The K30 Pro has Two memory options 6/8GB RAM, and 2 Storage options 128/256Gb Storage.
the 6/128 variant has UFS3.0 Storage, while the 8/128 and 8/256 variant has UFS3.1 Storage
The Multitasking experience is excellent, and switching between apps is also fluid, rarely one can see a lag when closing or opening the camera app, but very rarely, The RAM management is excellent.
The Redmi K30 pro has Quad Camera setup with the primary one being a 64MP Wide Lens, the second one is a 13 MP Ultrawide Lens, the third one is a 5 MP Telephoto Macro Lens, and the last one is 2 MP Depth Sensor.
The Shots from the primary camera, is what you expect from this sensor, they are some of the best shots out there, but the same cannot be sad for low and night light photography, there it is good, but not great.
The overall quality of the shots are very great, even at 10X the words were readable, and upto 3X zoom shots were usable on social media,
The ultrawide shots are great in normal lighting, but performance above average in night light, macro shots are great, and depth sensor does its job pretty well, with some amazing portrait shots with great edge detection accuracy.
Video recording options include (8K)4320P @24/30FPS, (4K)2160P @30/60FPS, [email protected]/60/120/240/960FPS.
Videos are great, for a budget flagship, even at 8K we get some stabilization, and the end results are pretty amazing.
For selfies, we have a Motorized pop-up 20MP wide lens
The K30 Pro has a 4700mAh Battery with 33Watt Fast Charging Support, Given the specs, it should easily last for around 2 Days for most of the users.
The K30 Pro has Mono Bottom Firing Speaker, which is good for a Mono Speaker.
The Audio is loud, with adequate vocal and sound quality
The K30 Pro has In-Display fingerprint sensor, which is pretty fast and accurate, also there is the face-unlock which is again very fast
Redmi K30 Pro has MIUI 11 on top of Android 10, the MIUI is good UI it has many customization options but comes with some bloatware but they are removable
The K30 Pro has NFC and 5G Support
The base variant of the Redmi K30 Pro the 6/128Gb Version will be priced Around 2999CNY/450$ which is roughly around 32000INR, Making it the cheapest Smartphone with Snapdragon 865 as of now, overtaking the iQOO 3 5G.
The Redmi K30 Pro is Great Smartphone with Excellent CPU/GPU, Great memory and storage, Great Camera Setup, Great Build Quality, Great Display, and great Battery. It certainly doesn’t disappoint like the Redmi K30 4G, but still, it has some flaws like the 60Hz Screen, now when all the flagships are coming with 90/120Hz Screen, K30 Pro still has 60Hz Screen.
And the Camera setup could have been better like 64+13+8+2(On K30 Pro Zoom) is a much better option than the 64+13+5+2, but at the same time is much costlier for just a bit better camera, so it all comes down to personal preference.
