When the Redmi Note 9T was released in China as the Redmi Note 9, I was impressed by its price and specs, but now as it’s released globally with its specs tweaked by Redmi, and with much higher pricing, it fails to bring out that same level of excitement, the camera setup is changed, the useful ultrawide lens is switched with a worthless macro sensor, and the memory options are also changed offering only 4GB RAM instead of the original 6GB and 8GB RAM options, and the base model, has a UFS 2.1 storage instead of the usual UFS2.2 storage, all this and still is price much higher than its Chinese counterparts(~ ₹20,500 as compared to ~ ₹14,560).
The Specs are not something one would expect from a ₹20,000 smartphone, like 4GB RAM on a ₹20,000 Android is ridiculous, and that to coming from a budget-oriented brand like Redmi is even more hilarious.
