This Year Realme has released so many Smartphones that it’s getting difficult to get track of it, but if a company which is famous for releasing phones in the mid-budget segment, decides to go for the flagship specs, in the previous year we have seen it happening when Xiaomi released the Pocofone at 20000 INR with the flagship-grade processor, however this year its the Realme which has decided to go that way, by releasing the Realme X2 Pro.
So like always lets start with the looks design and build quality, the design is very similar to the previous generation, but that’s where the similarities end, unlike the Realme X pro this time Realme X2 pro has a full glass body instead of the plastic on the realme X, it looks and feel’s premium in the hand and has very good build quality,
Coming to the display Realme X2 pro
6.5 inches Super AMOLED 90Hz display having almost 85% screen to body ratio and a Resolution of 1080X2400 pixels, for the protection it is protected by the Corning gorilla glass 5 on both sides, and it supports HDR10+, overall very good display and surely the best display in its price segment.
Now its time for performance, this phone is called a flagship because of the processor used in it, the Qualcomm snapdragon 855+, an octa-core CPU with 1×2.96 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 485, coupled with
Adreno 640 GPU. the day to day performance is really good, the gaming experience is also very good, able to play all the games at the high setting with pretty much no difficulty, overall nothing less was to expected form the Snapdragon 855+.
In terms of memory, it comes with options of having 6/8/12 GB of ram with either 64 GB UFS2.1 Storage or the 128/256 UFS3.0 storage.
Now Lets Talk about the Optics, this phone has Quad Camera setup the same one as that of the realme XT, with the primary one being the 64 MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture, 26 mm wide lens, the second one is a 13 MP with f/2.5 aperture, 52 mm telephoto lens, the third one is an 8MP with f/2.2 aperture, 16mm ultrawide lens, and finally the fourth one is a 2 MP depth sensor, overall the Shots are nice and have great quality but are not good as compared to the hardware used hopefull can be easily improved by the software updates, for selfies it has 16 Mp f/2.0 shooter and shots some great pics in normal lighting and decent pics in low lighting, Video recording options include 2160P @30/60fps, 1080P @30/60/120fps, 720P @960fps, the video quality is good more on the great side .
Now the next and the most surprising thing about the Smartphone is it Battery, its a 4000 mAh battery which is good not very impressive but good for a flagship and will easily last for a full day with normal usage, the interesting thing is the charger it is 50 WATT charger and charges the phone in 0to100 % in around 30 min’s, so if you are out somewhere and low on battery just plug it in for 10 mins and get a massive boost in battery.
Next is audio, the Front faced Dual speakers are good and great volumes and the audio quality is very good, very good speakers.
For security, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor and also supports the Face unlock which is pretty good.
So let’s talk about the Price in India the expected price is around 28000 INR for the 6/64 GB variant, so after launch in India this phone will become the cheapest phone with the Snapdragon 855+.
Overall this phone is very good and nest next to zero cons in it, and the price range it comes in is fantastic,
But my suggestion will be to go for the 128 GB variant at it will just round 3000 INR more but will offer better/ faster storage.
