Realme X2 Design

The Realme X2 Something Amazing From Realme 11

Like Always Lets Start With the Looks design And Aesthetics
The Design is Almost the same as that of the Realme X2 pro, the only difference being that the Realme X2 pro has an aluminum frame while the Realme X2 has a Plastic frame, which can be felt while holding the phone, even then also as it is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5 on both back and front it feels good in hand

The Realme X2 has a 6.4 inches Super AMOLED display with 1080X2340 Resolution a 19.5:9 Aspect ratio and a Water Drop notch with almost 83% screen to body ratio, The Display is Great having good color accuracy and Good saturation level and you can even change the Saturation levels in Setting

Performance is where the real difference lies between the Realme X2 Pro and Non-ProVersion, The Realme X2 has a Snapdragon 730G

The Snapdragon 730G is an octa-core processor with 2×2.2 GHz Kryo 470 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 470 Silver and Adreno 618 GPU, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.1 Storage, the performance is good in normal day to day task’s and multitasking is great, only at heavy workload, one can observe the performance going down.

In terms of gaming, it can run almost all the low to the mid-range titles at the high setting and can run heavy titles at the low setting, but the lag-down start’s from medium setting’s

The Realme X2 has a Quad camera setup with the primary one being a 64 MP, f/1.8 Aperture a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor,
The secondary one is an 8 MP, f/2.3 ultrawide lens
The third one is a 2 MP, f/2.4 dedicated macro camera
and a 2 MP, f/2.4 depth sensor

The Shots from the Primary lens are great but in some pics, the color details and saturation can go OFF, however, even with the errors the shots are still good looking and Most of the times the shots have great dynamic range, Decent level of Details and mostly the colors and saturation are pretty accurate

However, in night condition the shots are good, but can’t be said to be very good, the detailing could have been better as seen in the Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme X2 Pro booth using the same senor, hopefully, Realme Fixes that with the software updates

In Normal Day Lights but there was some error in Post-processing since resulting in grainy pics

The ultrawide lens shots are very good but not great, improvements are needed in the post-processing of the images, hopefull Realme Fixes that with software updates

Macro Camera Shots are above average not the best in this price range but are acceptable

The 2MP depth sensor does its job pretty well, as the portrait shots on this phone are among the best in this price range

Video Recording options Include
[email protected], [email protected]/60/120fps, [email protected],
Videos can be recorded from the Primary and ultrawide lens and have an extra steady mode which removes almost all the shake from the video and makes it extra stable
the video quality is great easily one of the best in this price segment

For selfie, It has a 32MP f/2.0 wide lens
the selfies are great, portrait from selfies are also great, has great edge detection

For vlogger, this phone is great if they mostly use the front camera for video as video recording is available till [email protected] the Video Quality is great from the front camera

The Realme X2 has a 4000 mAh Battery which is good as the phone will easily last for a day in moderate usage and lasts for 1.5 to 2 days in light usage,
The 30 Watt charger included in the box can charge the phone from 0 to 65% in 30 mins which is great

Next is audio, the Front faced Dual speakers are good and great volumes and the audio quality is very good, very good speakers.

For security, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor and also supports the Face unlock which is pretty good.

At a starting price of 17000 INR for the 4/64 GB Variant, It seems a bit expensive, if for the same price we have gotten the 6/64 GB variant then it would have a good value for money, but still looking at the other given specs the it is a good option when considering to buy a phone under 18000 INR

When The Realme X2 Pro was released it was the best in its price segment and still, it is, but For Realme X2 it is not that way, if you want for Gaming then Redmi Note 8 Pro is a better option,
as even though it has slightly weaker CPU, But the GPU performance is much Ahead of the Realme X2 and Camera Shots are also better, but has a weaker Video quality.

If you need a Smartphone for Performance(not gaming, CPU performance), Good camera, Great Video Quality, Great Speakers including Good Battery life then The Realme X2 is the Answer for You

  • Very Good Processor
  • Gorilla Glass 5 on both back and front
  • Good Camera Setup
  • Great Video Quality
  • Great Battery life
  • Great Audio

  • Sometimes Camera Gives Grainy and Below Average shots
  • Design is old
  • Plastic build
  • NO IP Rating
